ALBANY — Music lovers celebrated the 518 with an intimate live music performance featuring bright up-and-comers and a Grammy Award-winning artist at The Egg on Friday, May 18.
Troy’s favorite rockers Super 400 joined a couple of area teenaged solo artists — Moriah Formica and Sydney Worthley — whose impact on the music world continues to expand beyond the Capital District. Sandy McKnight’s Pop-Clique opened the evening and the night was highlighted by a special performance by Grammy Award-winning songwriter Julie Gold.
Gold, whose song “From a Distance” was famously performed by Bette Midler, earned a Grammy Award for Song of the Year in 1991.
