A 33-year-old Schenectady man was indicted for murder and other charges related to a January incident at LaQuinta Inn & Suites on Loudon Road.
According to District Attorney David Soares, on Jan. 30, Justin Wells and two others gave enough drugs to a 66-year-old man to kill him and then stole his car.
Wells pleaded not guilty in Albany County Court to murder, robbery, conspiracy and grand larceny.

Two co-defendants, James Kruzinski, 38, and Elizabeth Beth, 27, previously pleaded not guilty to murder, robbery and conspiracy.
All three defendants are scheduled to reappear in court on Oct. 14.
Assistant District Attorneys Jessica Blain-Lewis and Collin D’Arcy are handling the prosecution.
