ALBANY — You know it’s going to be a good time when surrounding venues promote an “after show” to the show you have a ticket for.
Twiddle, Wild Adriatic and Strange Machines will perform at the Palace Theatre on Friday, Feb. 14, at 7:40 p.m.
With 12 years of relentless touring behind it, Vermont-based rock band Twiddle has built an impressive resume spanning Red Rocks to Bonnarooand multiple sellouts of historic rock venues including Port Chester, New York’s Capitol Theatre and Washington D.C.’s 9:30 Club. With the second half of the band’s third studio album, Plump, on the horizon, the band’s career continues to catapult forward. Buoyed by the generous support of 359 Kickstarter donors, the 27-song album does more than showcase the group’s beautiful music, but also tells an important story.
Rooted in the rowdy spirit of rock ‘n’ roll, Wild Adriatic has built an international audience on a combination of groove, grit, and guitar-heavy swagger.
With the power trio’s newest album, Feel, bandmates Travis Gray, Rich Derbyshire, and Mateo Vosganian update the sound of their influences — from Seventies rock to Motown to soul — for a contemporary audience, taking influence from the past but never losing sight of the present.
