GUILDERLAND — To Life! — collaborating with Crossgates Mall and Lord & Taylor — presents “Thrivers Take to the Runway,” a fashion show featuring 20 breast cancer survivors, on Saturday, Oct. 8, from 1 to 3 p.m., in the lower level courtyard in front of the department store.
This is no ordinary fashion show. As each model proceeds down the runway, their stories will unfold with narration by area media personality Mary Morin Carlin. Models will have their hair done by Ania Hair Studio & Spa, as well as make-up by the Lord & Taylor cosmetics experts.
Surrounding the fashion show will be a min-expo showcasing breast cancer pink products, and music will be provided by media sponsor FLY 92.3 FM.
The fashion show is free, and runway side seating is available.
