The Shaker girls tennis team posted a 6-3 Suburban Council victory over Ballston Spa Tuesday.
No. 1 singles player Shannon Mukerti swept Ballston Spa’s Anna Steciuk 6-0, 6-0 to lead Shaker. Stephanie Behrens, Miak Fallati and Skyler Luv also won their singles matches for the Blue Bison.
Ballston Spa’s Kim Roberts and Aubrey Hodnett defeated Shaker’s Liann Goldman and Kaitlyn Amerc 6-3, 7-5 at first doubles, but the Blue Bison took the other two doubles matches to complete the victory.
Gina Hanna and Matty Gemerek earned singles victories for the Scotties.
