GUILDERLAND — On its last regular season game of the year, the Lady Dutch defeated Albany, 6-0, to finish with a record of six wins, two ties and two losses.
Guilderland was led by two goals from Allison Rive and Jenna Meier while Riley Grimm and Michaela Gordon chipped in a goal each.
Courtney Fish had 23 saves for the Lady Falcons of Albany while Guilderland’s standout keeper Molly DiCaprio was not called on to make a save and was not in goal in the second half.
The Lady Dutch lost 1-0 to the undefeated Shen on Oct. 3, the first game of the season, and 3-1 to Averill Park on Oct. 20. The squad tied Columbia and Shaker.
There will not be any sectional or state competition this year due to the pandemic, but there will be a Suburban Council tournament.
