What music are you listening to these days?
Everything. I am constantly listening to music that fits my mood. Some days it is Slipknot, and an hour later it might be Joni Mitchell. From Johnny Cash to Eminem, if it is good music then I want to hear it. I am always checking out new, local musicians, too.
What are you reading?
A lot of eastern philosophy type stuff. I am particularly a fan of Thich Naht Hahn.
Watching are you watching on TV?
I’m still into “Family Guy,” “American Dad,” “Bob’s Burgers,” but I also enjoy “Orange is the New Black” and “House of Cards.”
What was the last movie you saw, and what did you think?
Probably some Marvel Comics movie. It seems like those are the only ones I make it to the theater for anymore. But I do love them, and I love going to the movies with my kids so it is a win-win situation.
One person living or dead you would like to meet and why?
DaVinci – the most famous polymath. Perhaps I could get his perspective on a few things.
Describe your dream vacation.
The jungle, my camera, and a can of bug spray.
What is your favorite hobby?
Photography? Riding the motorcycle? Live music? Nah… hanging out with my sons!

A big bowl of my mother’s macaroni salad.
What three things would you bring with you to a deserted island?
[His sons,] Skyler, Dakota, and Ashton.

Everything! I think I am pretty good about keeping people on the edge of their seats.
