Three people were arrested after driving a stolen car to the Colonie Public Safety Center at 312 Wolf Rd. on Wednesday, Nov. 16, according to police reports.
Around 5:14 p.m. on Nov. 16, Albany Police notified Colonie Police that a vehicle stolen from the City of Albany and equipped with OnStar GPS was in the Town of Colonie at 243 Wold Rd., said police, and shortly thereafter, the vehicle’s GPS indicated it was in the lot of the Colonie Public Safety Center. Colonie Police located the vehicle, which was unoccupied, and arrested three subjects inside the building a short time later, according to police reports.
Pamela D. Copes, 33, of 22 Benson St. 2nd floor in Albany was charged with criminal possession of stolen property in the third degree, a felony, and had been in court answering charges from a March incident for unlawfully fleeing a police officer, reckless driving and aggravated unlicensed operation, all misdemeanors, unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, and a February incident for petit larceny and endangering the welfare of a child, according to police reports.
Michael Oglesby, 45, of 133 Clinton Ave. in Albany was charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle in the second degree, a felony, according to police reports.
Andrea M. Dixon, 44, of 38 Exchange St. 1st floor in Colonie was charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle in the third degree, a misdemeanor, according to police reports.
The vehicle recovered is a white 2007 Chevrolet Impala, valued at $12,325 and reported stolen from 427 Second Ave. in Albany on Nov. 16 at 6:52 a.m., according to police reports.
