A Saratoga Springs man convicted of driving drunk after picking up his 13-year-old daughter from school in April 2010, was sentenced to jail time on Friday, March 11, for violating his probation, according to Saratoga County District Attorney James A. Murphy.
Kenneth A. Green, 56, of 40 Friar Tuck Way in Saratoga Springs, admitted to a judge that he violated his probation by repeatedly consuming alcohol while on his probation term imposed July 1, 2010 for a felony DWI charge, according to Murphy.
Green was taken off probation and sentenced to 10 months in Saratoga County Jail, said Murphy.
Green’s original conviction stemmed from an incident on April 21, 2010 where Green picked up his daughter from school and collided with another vehicle. Green’s BAC was found to be .20 percent at the time of the accident and nobody suffered any injuries as a result of the collision, according to information from Murphy’s office.
