The Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a June 1 dinner, sock hop and vintage car show at the Bethlehem Town Park.
This year’s dinner will be informal, and we will try to get as many families and children involved as we can, said Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce president Marty DeLaney.
Board member Melanie Burns said since the Chamber was formed in 1957, a sock hop and car show sounded like a good idea.
`There will be hula hoops and frisbees,` Burns said.
The annual event usually attracts between 250 and 300 people. Other chamber events scheduled for 2007 include the annual Springfest at the Delmar Four Corners on May 19, and the Annual Golf Classic at the Normanside Country Club slated for Sept. 17.
