Depositions from town officials were released in early December as part of a federal suit against the town pending in U.S. District Court.
The statements pinpoint the chain of command and sequence of events that led to the issuance criminal subpoenas granting access to the personal e-mail accounts that were the source of several messages sent to Supervisor Mary Brizzell in 2003.
The suit filed by Hugh Skerker, a town paramedic, contends his state and federal constitutional rights were violated when the town took action against him after identifying him as one of the authors of the e-mails.
