On Monday May 6, 2024 @ 7:00pm, the Musicians of Ma’alwyck perform a lobby concert at the Strand Theatre as they present Forbidden Music Regained!

Forbidden Music Regained: All of the repertory is from the Leo Smit Archive in the Netherlands of Dutch composers who were persecuted by the Nazis. The Musicians of Ma’alwyck are bringing a soprano from the Netherlands, who specializes in this repertory. Musicians will be Elizaveta Agrafenina, soprano; Ann-Marie Barker Schwartz, violin and Max Caplan, piano. The composers include Ignace Lilien, Henrietta Bosmans, Paul Hermann, Rosy Wertheim, and Dick Kattenburg.
