On Saturday, March 16th, we once again will host the Build A Bed at the Watervliet Dome, located at 1300 2^nd ave.

This is the 4^th year we hosted the event. This organization builds these beds and then will go to the homes of children that requested a bed.  Many of these children never had a bed and usually slept on the floor with an air mattress or a used mattress.  We have been receiving donations in the form of cash and bedding. Residents have been dropping off sheets, blankets and pillows all month so the children will have a complete bed set.

We’ll have over 60 volunteers turning raw wood into bed parts.
