On Friday, April 5^th, 2024, Schuyler Mansion State Historic Site will host a single day program for children aged 8-14.

Join us for Parisian Style Schuylers: French Day at the Mansion, during which kids will immerse themselves in 18^th century French culture and history in Schuyler style. The Schuylers hosted many French guests and were adamant consumers of French culture, even hosting a family seeking refuge during the French Revolution. Kids will learn about the connections between the Schuylers and the French and will get to make a French-inspired 18^th century craft, learn a few key French phrases, and more.

The program runs from 9AM to 2PM. Food is not provided, but there will be a lunch break for the kids to eat lunches brought from home. The program is free of charge, but kids must be signed up by a guardian ahead of time. Spaces can be reserved by calling 518-434-0834 and speaking with a staff member. Please note that space is limited to fifteen participants.
