Animal Protective Foundation to Host Community Yard Sale and Pet Pantry Food Drive

May 11 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Glenville, NY – The Animal Protective Foundation (APF) is hosting a Community Yard Sale and Pet Pantry Food Drive this Saturday, May 11th from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. The event will be held at the APF located on 53 Maple Avenue in Glenville.

Over 20 vendors will be on-site with pet products, home goods, furniture, crafts, baked goods from APF volunteers, and more available for purchase. All proceeds will go towards the APF’s ongoing mission to provide medical care, housing, food, and lifesaving support for companion animals in need.

Attendees are also encouraged to drop off pet food and other supplies to support the APF’s Pet Food Pantry. Visit the APF’s Amazon and Chewy wish lists at this link for needed items.

“The APF’s Community Yard Sale and Pet Pantry Food Drive is a fantastic way to meet and become involved with other pet-lovers in the community,” said Frank Sicari, APF volunteer and community engagement manager.  “Best of all it helps raise much-needed funds for companion animals in need.”

Also, a reminder, the APF’s Woofstock Music Festival returns to the Mohawk Harbor Amphitheater in Schenectady on Sunday, June 2. The day includes an optional 5K run/Walk-a-thon (includes FREE admission to Woofstock), over 40 vendors, and live music with local favorites 20 Ninety Six (2096), the Donna Tritico Band along with Harbor Jam favorites, Philadelphia Freedom – a tribute to Elton John, headlining. Click this link for your 50% off Woofstock tickets, and/or to register for the 5K Run/Walk-a-Thon.
