The Guilderland girls volleyball team defeated Averill Park 3-1 in Thursday’s Suburban Council match.
Averill Park won the first game 25-20 before Guilderland (9-6) swept the next three games by scores of 25-7, 25-17 and 25-7.
Allison VanDoren had 27 service points including eight aces, seven kills and 11 assists to lead the Lady Dutch. Quincy Kinzel recorded 11 service points including six aces and eight kills, while Mary Kelly nine kills and six blocks.`
