Outgoing Gov. George Pataki signed legislation establishing State Route 140, Cherry Avenue Extension in the Town of Bethlehem to be renamed the Captain Timothy J. Moshier Highway.
The designation is to honor the Delmar native who died April 1, 2006, while conducting a combat air mission in Iraq. Moshier’s widow, Katie, family, and friends all took part in the event held at the State Capitol in Albany on Thursday, Dec. 7.
