Mia x Ally will perform "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" tour at the Hart Theatre - The Egg Performing Arts Center Wednesday, Oct. 25.

ALBANY – Viral sensations Mia x Ally will start their “Devil Went Down to Georgia” tour at The Egg on Wednesday, Oct. 25. Due to popular demand for show performers, Mia Asano (electric violinist from Denver, CO) and Ally Crowley-Duncan (bagpipes, Latham native and Schenectady resident), their show has been moved from the Swyer Theatre to the Egg’s Hart Theatre.

According to Zach Wilkens, Box Office Manager of The Egg, “Mia and Ally and their tour management have been so excited to see the response for this show and they want as many people as possible to be able to attend!”

Spectators who purchased tickets prior to the venue change will receive comparable seats in the Hart Theatre and will be emailed prior to Wednesday. Tickets can be made available at will call on request.

The Hart Theatre normally seats over 900 patrons. Mia x Ally’s management team is encouraging fans to purchase tickets for the show and support the ladies at their hometown show.

The duo referred to their “hatching” tour, beginning at The Egg, to be a place of significance for the ladies, especially Crowley-Duncan who felt that this particular show was nostalgic and personal, and she is excited to bring her duo project into her home.

Originally, the Swyer Theatre show sold out quickly. The ladies remain grateful for the local support, as well as national support from Metallica and The Charlie Daniels Band.

Asano and Crowley-Duncan’s new album, “Mia x Ally: The Viral Hits”, to be released this month, will feature several fan and personal favorites of the performers, as well as two songs composed specifically for the electric violin and bagpipes.

On Wednesday, the ladies will also perform a cover of the Power Rangers theme song in memory of actor Jason David Frank while raising awareness about suicide prevention, awareness, and support.

The Mia x Ally show is part of The Egg’s Rhythm International Series. Tickets for the show are at both $34.50 and $109.50 (VIP). The VIP access will allow fans to interact with the performers for a meet-and-greet, receive an exclusive merch bundle, a photo opportunity, and early access to seating beginning at 5:30 p.m. For more information, go to Mia x Ally | The Egg or contact the box office directly at (518)-473-1845 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
