COLONIE — Shen scored on its first two possessions to take a 13-0 lead over CBA and the Plainsmen never looked back.
The final in what some considered to be a more competitive game was 53-7.
CBA (3-3, 3-3) didn’t get on the board until it was down 20-0 with a 21-yard sprint from Mike Barber and an Owen Naef extra point.
Shen went on to score the next 33 unanswered.
Bill Beach score three times for the Plainsmen (5-1, 5-1) once on a pass from quarterback Brendan Blott and two on the ground. Patrick McCane, Kiernan Shanahan, Josh Szwarcberg, Ely Bruhns and Harrison Shaw all score touchdowns for Shen. Blott had two touchdown passes.
CBA will host Shaker and Shen will play at Albany on Friday Oct. 12.
