BETHLEHEM – The Eagles won its last Suburban Council game of the season by beating Columbia 8-3 on Wednesday, May 17.
Colby Nash went 2 for 4 for Bethlehem while Nick Mosier hit a two-run home run. Six Eagles had hits: David Garcia, Trey Sgroi, Josh Bein, Sean Turner, Matt Wise and Brian Bolduc.
Nick Stagnitta went 2 for 4 while Josh Pangburn and Matt LaHera had hits for Columbia.
On the mound, Sigroi went six innings and David Montalvo went the seventh. They gave up three runs on four hits while striking out 10 and walking four.
Bethlehem had eight runs on nine hits while walking four and striking out six.
The Eagles have a No. 2 seed heading into the playoffs and are scheduled to play the winner of Columbia and LaSalle on Tuesday, May 22.
