NISKAYUNA — Robert Irvine will not be seeing the Capital District on July 10 and 11; at least, he won’t be seeing it right now.
Allyson Kircher, associate producer for Lando Entertainment, said the muscular food mogul and his hit show, “Restaurant: Impossible,” had to “re-arrange our schedule and will not be able to come to Niskayuna at this time.” Kircher added the company hopes to make a visit to the area in the near future.
Lando Entertainment is in the process of notifying volunteers, Kircher continued.
Spotlight News reported on June 26 that the show would be filming an episode at Niskayuna eatery LT’s Grill. The popular Food Network series visits America’s most desperate restaurants and saves them from impending failure in just two days with only $10,000. Irvine and his crew assess the restaurant, its staff and the menu before ultimately tearing down walls, cutting down menus and producing a few tears along the way.
