Jay Street Marketplace — Thursday, Sept. 6
SCHENECTADY — Schenectady County and the Downtown Schenectady Improvement Corp. hosts The Refrigerators at Jay Street Marketplace on Thursday, Sept. 6, from 6 to 9 p.m.
It’s the inaugural night for the concert series that starts with The Refrigerators. This night will be followed by a performance by Grand Central Station on Thursday, Sept. 13. The series will also host Schenectady County’s Battle of the Bands on Friday, Sept. 21.

SCHENECTADY — The St. George Greek Orthodox Church hosts its 43rd Annual Greek Festival from Friday to Sunday, Sept. 7 to 9.
This is the Greek festival everyone waits all year long for. Enjoy the many homemade traditional Greek foods, pastries and sweets. Try Greek beers and wines. Listen to the sounds of Greek music and watch dancers show off traditional dances.
