BRUNSWICK — State Police arrested a 43-year old Schenectady man for aggravated driving while intoxicated after he was pulled over for an alleged traffic violation.

Brian T. Bold was reportedly driving in Brunswick on the evening of Saturday, June 18, when State Police said he was stopped for an undisclosed traffic offense. As he was being interviewed, he allegedly showed signs of intoxication prompting State Police to administer a field sobriety test. He was taken into custody after allegedly failing the sobriety test. As he was later processed at the Brunswick barracks, State Police said he registered a blood alcohol level of 0.21 percent.
Prior to his release, Bold was issued an appearance ticket to appear at the Town of Brunswick Court at an undisclosed date.
Bold is the girls varsity soccer coach at Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School. He has guided the Spartans to several appearances in the New York State Public High School Athletic Association championships in his 11 years as head coach.
