Boys lacrosse: Shenendehowa edges Guilderland with late push

CAPITAL DISTRICT — The Suburban Council announced its list of boys lacrosse all-stars Wednesday, June 15. They are as follows:

First team
Attack — 
James Sexton (Niskayuna), Will Clark (Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake), Kevin Dyer (Guilderland), Owen Putnam (Shenendehowa)

Defense — Jake Shepard (Niskayuna), Matt Cavanaugh (Shen), Matt Morris (Columbia)

Goaltender — Andrew Leahey (Shaker)

Face Off Specialist — Dylan Pantalone (Niskayuna)

Defensive Midfield — Tyler Hess (Guilderland), Conor Leach (Shaker)

Midfield — Lucas Quinn (Niskayuna), Hans Zimmer (Ballston Spa), Matt Stucchi (Shen), Liam Dollard (Colonie), Mike Doxie (Niskayuna)

Second team
Attack — Jared Hoff (Shaker), Aidan Byrne (Niskayuna)

Defense — Tim McCarthy (Shen), Josh Gutknecht (Guilderland), Greg Poltmatier (Saratoga)

Goaltender — CJ Alesandrini (Colonie)

Face Off Specialist — Austin Deskewicz (Ballston Spa)
