COLONIE — Tee times at the Town of Colonie Golf Course can now be made online.
“The new system will enhance the golf experience for all by making it easier and more efficient to view and reserve tee times,” said Supervisor Peter Crummey.
The previous system required golfers looking to play at the 36-hole course to call by phone. Users now can visit the town’s website and navigate to the Parks and Recreation Department and then to the golf course’s page.
For those golfers who have already visited the golf course this year and registered their account, the online site will recognize your email and you will be prompted to create a password.
Once completed, you will be ready to reserve tee times online.
For those who have not registered at the golf course this year, you may create your account online. Those golfers who have not registered through the golf shop, will be defaulted to non-resident status. If you are a Colonie resident, this can be adjusted by bringing proof of residency to the golf shop when you come to the course.
When securing your tee time, golfers can add other players to your group if they have an existing account, or you can reserve up to four players (one foursome) under your name. Once the golfer has a tee time confirmation, the tee time will appear on the tee sheet in the golf shop immediately.
Tee times can be canceled and/or adjusted online. As in the past, golfers may also continue to call the golf shop for tee times at 518-374-4181.
Also, the town is now, for the first time, accepting credit cards at the Town Pool for admission fees or to make purchases at the concession stand.
