ALBANY COUNTY — Crossgates Mall, Crossgates Commons and Colonie Center are reducing their operational hours temporarily amid concerns over the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
Starting Tuesday, March 17, Crossgates Mall and Crossgates Commons, owned by Pyramid Management Group, will be open on Mondays through Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. A press release indicated that “the reduction in hours is also consistent with the needs of businesses across the Pyramid portfolio that are continuing to stay open.”

Colonie Center, managed by Pacific Retail Capital Partners, will now be open on Mondays through Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sundays from 12 noon to 6 p.m. All its events and programming in its common areas have been canceled through May 15.
Both malls indicated that in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, they are disinfecting and sterilizing its spaces, and following the pandemic’s situation closely.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced that effective Monday, March 16, bars, casinos, gyms and movie theaters will be closed and restaurants, if applicable, are restricted to drive-through and to-go orders. As such, Crossgates Mall, Crossgates Commons and Colonie Center are expected to draw in fewer crowds in the near future.
