COLONIE — Troy police arrested a 20-year-old man for allegedly robbing the Mobile Station located at 610 Troy Schenectady Road.
According to Lt. Robert Winn, the man entered the gas station on Monday, July 1 at around 11:43 p.m. A lone employee handed over between $300 and $400 in cash.
There was no weapon displayed and the employee was not injured.
The man fled in a green minivan.
In the early morning hours of Tuesday, July 2 Troy police spotted the vehicle and arrested William H. Jersey.
Colonie police are expected to formally charge him later this week and more information will be released at that time, Winn said.
