[dropcap color=”#888″ type=”square”]A[/dropcap]LBANY COUNTY – Town of Colonie Attorney Michael Magguilli will announce his candidacy for the Albany County Court Judge position today, Thursday, June 9, at 1:30 p.m. in front of the Albany County Courthouse on Eagle Street in Albany.
Magiulli, a graduate of Albany Law School, has been in his position as Colonie’s town attorney for more than eight years. Prior to 2008, he spent 18 years at Bloomberg and Magguilli, a law firm specializing in personal injury litigation, where he was a partner.
Maggiulli is also a charter member of the NYS Academy of Trial Lawyers, as well as a member of the NYS Bar Association; the Albany County Bar Association; the Albany County Democratic Law Committee; the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association; and the Regional Advisory Board of the Albany County Airport Authority.
“Michael Magguilli has been a loyal member of the Town of Colonie community,” said Linda Murphy, Town of Colonie Board Member. “The County of Albany will be in good hands with him as their judge.”
