North Colonie–Due to complaints by homeowners that Shaker High School students have been parking on residential streets in the neighborhood of Overlook Avenue, the town has designated several streets in the area as “No Parking Zones” as of Monday, May 9. Signage and added patrols will enforce the new restriction and students continuing to park on the following streets should expect to be ticketed or towed:
Overlook Avenue
Sheldon Avenue
Mt. Riga Avenue
Clifford Avenue
Hayden Avenue
Monroe Avenue
Arnold Avenue
Day Street
Parking will be prohibited on school days between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m.
