City of Albany police arrested Ernest Muller, 23, of Colonie, after he led officers on a vehicle pursuit Wednesday morning, Aug. 19.
Around 10:15 a.m., police attempted to initiate a traffic stop on Morton Avenue near South Pearl Street as part of an ongoing investigation, according to authorities. Muller allegedly failed to stop his vehicle and led police on a pursuit toward the Town of Colonie, where it was ultimately terminated by Albany police.
Muller was found shortly after at a residence on Frantone Lane in Colonie and was taken into custody.
Muller was charged with unlawfully fleeting a police officer and reckless endangerment. He was also cited for several violations of the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law. Muller will be arraigned in the Albany City Criminal Court.
As of Thursday, Aug. 20, the investigation is still ongoing and further charges are pending.
