DELMAR – On Thursday, Oct. 27 the Bethlehem Police arrested Michael J. Kaprielian for possessing child pornography. The investigation originated when the U.S. Department of Homeland Security developed information that a subject was file sharing child pornography files on the internet.
The investigation electronically traced the activity back to Kaprielian, 54 of Delmar and he has been charged with promoting a sexual performance by a child and possessing sexual performance by a child, both felonies.

Kaprielian allegedly acquired video in January of very young children performing sexual acts and then reposted the files later in August.
According to reports, he did not make the videos and the victims were not from this area. Kaprielian was arraigned in Bethlehem Town Court and released under the supervision of probation. A return date was set for Tuesday, Nov. 15.
