BETHLEHEM — Bethlehem police responded to a serious motorcycle crash that happened at around 3:40 p.m. on Saturday, August 10 on State Route 32 and Meads Lane.
A 1996 Yamaha motorcycle, operated by Robert A. Bruno, 78, of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, was heading north on State Route 32 when a vehicle ahead was about to make a turn onto Meads Lane. He lost control as he neared the vehicle’s rear and fell off.
A third vehicle behind swerved to avoid Bruno but it went off the road and into a nearby embankment. Bruno, the only injured person, was transported to Albany Medical Center by Delmar-Bethlehem EMS and Albany County Paramedics.
