Selkirk — A 56-year-old Ravena woman suffered minor injuries from a car accident in front of the Selkirk Stewarts’ location on 1344 Route 9W on Wednesday, Jan. 23 at around 7:22 a.m.
According to Bethlehem Police Department Cmdr. Adam Hornick, Christine M. Ingraham’s northbound 2009 Kia was struck by a 2002 Honda, operated by Jon J. Desnoyers, 40, of Selkirk when Desnoyers was trying to turn into the Stewart’s lot in front of her car.
Ingraham was sent to St. Peter’s Hospital with minor injuries, details of which were not disclosed, while Desnoyers was issued a traffic citation for failing to yield the right of way while making a turn. He is scheduled to appear in the Bethlehem Town Court sometime in February.
