
ALBANY — Paul Mackey, 34, of Schenectady, pleaded guilty to one count of fourth degree criminal possession of stolen property in Albany County Supreme Court Tuesday, Jan. 24.
Between Nov. 4 and Nov. 9 last year, Mackey stole credit cards, cell phones, laptop computers and GPS devices from multiple vehicles throughout Albany County, and he made purchases using the stolen credit cards. Mackey was arrested following an investigation led by the Colonie, Guilderland and Bethlehem police departments, and much of the stolen property was recovered from Mackey’s home.
Mackey faces 2-4 years in state prison when he is sentenced March 24.
