BCSD K-12 classes return to school on Wednesday, September 7. Below are some links to be sure parents and students are prepared to begin the new school year successfully.
Bus schedules, teacher assignments, emergency contact information and more for each of your students are posted and secured in the district’s parent portal, Aspen. Bus schedules were posted August 1 and teacher/homeroom assignments were posted on August 25.
Many teachers have posted welcome letters for students and families. These letters include important information. (Not sure where to locate this information? How to find your child’s teacher welcome letter on Aspen.) If you are having trouble logging into Aspen, visit the Aspen information page or contact the Aspen Help Desk at [email protected].
There is also a welcome letter from Superintendent Jody Monroe and a one-page resource with information on who to call when you have a question or concernwhich has been posted in Aspen and also posted to the district website.

These packets provide school specifics, including a staff roster, start times, parking and drop-off information, lunch and recess schedules. It also includes annual notifications, attendance policy (with a form that needs to be signed by parents), along with health information and information on the district’s Food Service program, including this year’s Free and Reduced Lunch application. District Calendar
The printed district calendar was mailed to all families in mid-August. If you did not receive one or if you would like to print a copy, the calendar can be viewed or downloaded here. Please remember that the most up-to-date information can be found on the district’s Google Calendar, which includes information for all schools. Parents can sync school and district Google Calendars to their own devices. Instructions can be found on the Calendar page.
