ALBANY COUNTY Andrew Yanowsky scored two goals, and goaltender Alex Breiner made 20 saves to lead Bethlehem to a 4-0 victory over Shenendehowa in a Capital District High School Hockey League game Friday, Feb. 5, at the Bethlehem Area YMCA.

Yanowsky’s first goal early in the first period got the Eagles on the scoreboard. Connor Carroll tallied with less than six minutes left in the opening stanza to make the score 2-0.

Yanowsky struck again in the second period, and Jake Dempf added a goal in the third period for Bethlehem, which won its ninth game in a row.

Goaltender David Mackey made 36 saves for Shen.

Niagara Falls scored the final two goals in a wild non-league game to defeat Shaker/Colonie 8-7 at the Lake Placid Tournament.

The Jets scored three times in the first seven minutes of the third period to grab a 6-5 lead. Niagara Falls tied the score at 6-6 before Zach Turnbull tallied to put Shaker/Colonie ahead again. Then, Niagara Falls tallied twice in the final minute of regulation to pull out the win.

Turnbull and Mark Egan each scored a pair of goals, and Andrew Vosburgh added a goal and two assists for Shaker/Colonie.
