History Walk with Mr. Ulion
Local history guide, Dennis Ulion, will lead you on a 2+ mile walk through Voorheesville, and down memory lane. Meet us at 9:30 a.m., Friday, Oct. 14, at the overflow parking area for St. Matthews on Mountainview. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and clothing layers, as the weather is turning chilly. Join our host, Sarah Walsh, Associate Director of the Mohawk Hudson Land Conservancy, at 6 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 13., as she leads a discussion on the many physical and mental health benefits of spending time in nature. MHLC has many beginner-friendly trails, and we will discuss the ways that visitors can have a positive and safe outdoor experience. This program is made possible through a grant from the Northeast Wellness and Fitness Initiative, inc.
