Summer is the time when kids can read whatever they want, and you can count on the library to make that fun.
• Earn raffle tickets towards great prizes for every hour that kids read.
• Register for weekly STEM programs, Crafts, and Teen Programs.
• Kids can write a book this summer in our Young Writer’s Boot Camp.
See our events calendar to register for programs and come to the library anytime to get your Summer Reading Log!
Summer Reading for Adults and Teens
Teens and Adults are rewarded for reading, too! For every three books you read you will earn a prize of the week PLUS entry in the Grand Prize Gift Basket drawing of your choice. Get your entry coupons at the Library starting July 1st.
Take and Make Tuesday!
Make a stack of “miniature books,” and then make a fashion statement.
After crafting your mini books, you’ll be able to turn them into a pendant necklace that you can wear to show the world how much you love books!
Pick up begins at 9 am on Tuesday, June 28.
Quilled Paper Flowers
Learn to make beautiful paper flowers with a crafting technique called “quilling,” on Wednesday, June 29 at 2 p.m.
No experience is needed, ages 10 and up are welcome. Registration is limited and required.
