FORT HUNTER – The Schoharie Crossing State Historic Site announced the return of its annual ROCK the LOCK music series for 2024.
The series continues with Saturday afternoon performances at the historic Erie Canal site, offering a mix of local and regional musical acts. The events begin at 1 p.m. each day outside the Visitor Center.
On Aug. 24, attendees can enjoy a co-headlining show featuring the Greg Bucking Band alongside Becca Frame and the Tall Boys. The series will conclude on Aug. 31 with
Jon Wager opening for the popular band SIRSY.
Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and dress appropriately for outdoor conditions. The Schoharie Crossing Visitor Center, located at 129 Schoharie Street in Fort Hunter, will serve as the venue for the concerts.
