SPOTTED: Sledding at Sand Creek

One of the most popular hills in town was crowded this weekend after a couple inches of snow on Sunday topped off the six or so inches earlier in the week.

The hill at Sand Creek Middle School on Sand Creek Road is steep and short, providing a fast run without having to walk a long distance back to the top. Plus, in addition to some homemade jumps, there is a snowbank at the bottom, thanks to the plows, and if the sleds do get by the bank there is only a parking lot on the other side and not moving traffic.
