LATHAM – The American Cancer Society Hope Club of Latham joined with the Century House to host a Holiday Bon Appetite on Dec 20. The illustriously decorated grounds served as a backdrop for a holiday wonderland, full of eats of the season, dancing, photo booth, holiday gifts, ornaments and more. With over sixty people in attendance, this event truly captured the spirit of giving, compassion, love and hope.
The American Cancer Society Hope Club is a support community for anyone whose life has been touched by cancer. Support is for everyone – family, children, teens, young adults, friends, co-workers – no one is turned away. There is no cost to become a member and all services and programs are free. The Hope Club name reflects the “hope” that the American Cancer Society shares every day for a world with less cancer and a “club” atmosphere that welcomes everyone.
HopeClub offers professionally led support groups, the full range of American Cancer Society signature programs, and social gatherings designed to maintain and foster a unique sense of community.
