ALTAMONT – For the 40th time, on Sept. 2 and 3, the Scots invaded the fairgrounds.
Scottish Games include like caber (telephone pole) tossing, throwing a weights over a bar as well as Highland dance, pipe band competitions and Scottish stage bands, craft vendors, dogs and food.
In addition, Scottish clans set up booths so people could trace their ancestry or just learn about the ancient families and the history of Scotland.
