ALBANY — Gamers from eight colleges converged at the Albany Capital Center for a two day Eastern College Athletic Conference esports HV Gamer Convention on Saturday and Sunday, March 19 and 20.
In addition to the college competition showcase, there was a public tournament and a place for the public to play some of the games and there were forums on how to create an esports team.
Esports teams from Boise State, Rensselaer Polytechnic, New Jersey City University, St. Joseph’s University, Canton, UAlbany, Wayne State, Florida Atlantic University and St. Rose fielded teams.
