ALBANY — Lark Street’s annual block party returns as LarkFest 2019 goes down on Saturday, Sept. 21, from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Art, vendors, food and live music highlight this day-long event.
Vundabar, and Prince Daddy and the Hyena headline a full slate of music that also includes sets from The Clay People, Johnny 2 Phones, Top Nachos, Bear Grass, Pink Nois (featuring Thai), Katani, Motorbike, Magic Ghrelin, Full Body, Safety Meeting, Ryan Leddick and Black Electric.
Vundabar, a trio out of Boston, is in what they call a sludgy jangly pop genre. The band is on tour pushing its latest album, “Smell Smoke.”
Prince Daddy and the Hyena is also on tour in support of their latest, “Cosmic Thrill Seekers,” which the band dropped in June under Counter Intuitive Records.
A family-friendly event, Christ’s Church and City Church present activities for children in their designated kids activity zones.
