ALBANY — In This Moment will hit the Palace Theatre stage for Mother’s House of Horror Traveling All Hallows’ Eve Masquerade on Sunday, Oct. 27th with support from Motionless in White, New Year’s Day, Ded and Rock & Roll Burlesque act, Little Miss Nasty.
On its sixth full-length album “Ritual,” In This Moment unearthed a furious and focused feminine fire from a cauldron of jagged heavy metal, hypnotic alternative, and smoky voodoo blues.
Vocalist and Capital District native Maria Brink comes back home, along with guitarist Chris Howorth, bassist Travis Johnson, rhythm guitarist Randy Weitzel and drummer Kent Diimel.
The group spent two years supporting its biggest album 2014’s “Black Widow.” Upon release, the band seized its highest position on the Billboard Top 200, bowing at No. 8. Simultaneously, it clinched No. 3 on the Hard Rock Albums chart and spawned a series of hits such as “Sick Like Me,” and “Big Bad Wolf,” both cracking 8 million Spotify streams each and topping Rock Radio.
Furthermore, the title track off In This Moment’s 2012 album, “Blood,” has been certified gold by the RIAA. A remarkable accomplishment, the companion music video for “Blood” has been viewed over 27 million times.
Tickets go on sale Friday, Aug. 16 at 10 a.m. at the Palace Theatre Box Office (located at 19 Clinton Ave).
Tickets are also available for purchase online at ticketmaster.com.
