Disc Jam Music Festival adds Dopapod; schedules and hosts announced

STEPHENTOWN — Disc Jam Music Festival has announced Dopapod as the final addition the festival’s lineup. This marks Dopapod’s eighth appearance in nine years at Disc Jam. Fresh off their one year plus hiatus ending show at The Capitol Theatre on April 27, Dopapod will perform just their second show since taking their break on Friday, June 7.

Daily lineups have also been released, revealing what day artists will play during Disc Jam. Thursday features two sets of Aqueous, along with late night sets by Twiddle’s frontman Mihali, and Fare Thee Well’s Neal Casal project Circles Around the Sun. Additional performances on Thursday feature Lespecial, Dynohunter, Horizon Wireless, Mom and Dad, Litz, Eggy, Of Clocks and Clouds, Cypher, One Time Weekend, Space Junk is Forever and Big Sexy & The Scrambled Eggs. The first night of Disc Jam’s electronic Woods Stage will feature artists Honeycomb, Voltran, DudenGuy, Delish Music, Stylyze, AG, Matt Carey, Hot Pot, Bake Joynton, Kerry Quirk, Jaybol, Ilas, Underlux, Badluck, Leila, Boats, Oonagi and Detour.

Friday will find Dopapod closing out the main stage, along with performances during the day by Ripe, Moon Hooch, Sunsquabi, Consider the Source, Lespecial, The Breakfast, Jaw Gems, The Elovaters, West End Blend, Formula 5, Catullus, Muscle Tough, Funky Dawgz Brass Band, Roots Collider, Wurliday and Ampevene. Late night will feature sets from The Floozies, Thriftworks, and Detox Unit, additional Woods Stage artists include Atyya, Spacegeisha, Bricksquash, Woolymammoth, Ives, Mindset, Drrtywulvz, Mystic Grizzly, IX, Inkblot, !sded, Ecometric, Dice Man, Smokestax, Parrotice and Biokoi.

Saturday’s main stage will highlight headliners Lotus with Barber & Friends and John Kadlecik & The West Philly Fadeaway that will feature both Jon Gutwillig and Tom Hamilton sharing guitar duties alongside Lotus drummer Mike Greenfield, plus original members of The Disco Biscuits Sammy Altman, Marc Brownstein and Aron Magner paying tribute to The Grateful Dead. Papadosio, Ghost Light, Kung Fu, Strange Machines, Chachuba, Space Bacon, Wax Future, Sam Kininger Band, Tweed, Timbre Coup, Paris Monster, Pine Needle Soul, Root Shock, Audiodacity and Joon all find themselves performing on the busiest day of the four-day camping event. Following the main stage sets, fans can dance late into the night with Umphrey’s McGee bassist Ryan Stasik’s Doom Flamingo and CIA and Friends, plus electronic producers The Widdler, and Truth getting the late night sets. Woods Stage performances feature Flamingosis, Reso, Khiva, Late Night Radio, Daily Bread, Edamame, Frameworks, Faceplant, Pi Wrecks, Sobe, Flowtiglio, Pathwey, Jack the Human, Dual Natured, Chris Sears, Backpack and IX.

Sunday, Disc Jam wraps up with Pink Talking Fish headlining the main stage, plus sets from Ghost-Note, Star Kitchen, DrFameus, Escaper, Wild Adriatic, The New Motif, Space Carnival, Band of Tomorrow, Eastbound Jesus and Dewpoint. Woods Stage artists include closing performances from Cofresi, Bells and Robes, Lee Ross and Resin Ed.
