COLONIE — The High School’s theater company will present the classic Christmas Carol on Dec. 7 and 8.
The iconic story by Charles Dickens, first published in 1843, features Ebenezer Scrooge, an elderly miser visited by the ghost of his former partner Jacob Marley and of the sprits of Christmas past, present and future.
By the end, Scrooge is transformed into a kinder gentler man and learns the true meaning of Christmas.
Colonie’s production will take in the high school auditorium at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children, seniors and students.
The show features Noah Unser as Scrooge, Tyler Vasquez as Dickens, Jacqueline Rennick as the Ghost of Christmas Past, Isabella Alesandrini as the Ghost of Christmas Present and Mark Zesewitz as the Ghost of Christmas yet to Come.
Caitlin Tizzone plays Jacob Marley, Moses Crosbourne plays Bob Cratchit, Caitlin Tizzone plays Mrs. Cratchit, Angeline Pesta plays Martha Cratchit, Anjali Sooknanan plans Peter Cratchit, Molly Ryan plans Belinda Cratchit and Jennifer McCarville plays Tiny Tim.
The play is directed and produced by by Susan Vatalaro and James Haertel. Technical direction by John Gehres and costumes by Mara Stephan.
