TROY — Erratic weather played games with Rockin’ on the River all summer, but the free concert series ended on a high note, Wednesday, Aug. 15.
Singer/songwriter Sydney Worthley, a Capital District favorite, opened for Skeeter Creek, the Capital District’s favorite country party band, in front of one of the largest crowds of the summer.
The free concert at Riverfront Park, presented by the Troy Business Improvement District and WEQX, was a re-schedule from a rain-out earlier this year.
Officials are trying to re-schedule Almost Queen, another crowd favorite that was rained out earlier this summer, but no date has been set.
