ALBANY — The Capital City stepped off on the right foot with an exhibition of good old-fashioned hard rock for the opening night of its summer concert series on Thursday, June 7.
Great White, despite being once bitten, was neither shy nor timid as the headlining act for the evening. First formed in 1977, and having sold more than 10 million records since then, the band sounded just as electrifying as it did at its peak with its 1989 hit “Once Bitten, Twice Shy.”
Joe Mansman and The Midnight Revival Band warmed up the crowd as the opening act. The band’s stage presence was on point, both interacting with the crowd and playing with apparent passion with each of its original songs.
Here are a few images captured by Michael Hallisey from the evening.
