NIGHT:
SCHENECTADY — “Young Dr. Jekyll: A New Musical” opens at Proctors on Friday, June 8, at 8 p.m.
While on the mystical Isle of Bu Bu young Dr. Harry Jekyll discovers what he believes is the secret to intelligence. He is determined to ignore the existence of his insane father and anything else that might get in the way of his chances of being the youngest person to be admitted to The Royal Society of Scientific Minds. However, science is not the only discovery made as the cast of characters learn what it truly means to be in the right place at the right time.
The musical runs from Friday, June 8 to Sunday, June 10, and again from Thursday, June 14 to Saturday, June 16. There are three afternoon showings Saturday, June 9, Sunday, June 10 and Saturday, June 16, each provides a post-show audience talkback.

ALTAMONT — Prepare for a weekend of knights, ladies, minstrels and more amongst the apple trees and strawberry fields of Indian Ladder Farms, from Saturday, June 9 to Sunday, June 10.
The festival will be held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 9 and Sunday, June 10, and features performances throughout the day with plenty of time to browse the thirty-plus marketplace vendors.
One-day admission costs $15 ($5 for children). A two-day ticket costs $20.
A $35 Pub Crawl ticket features four stops to sample brews and includes a souvenir mug.
